These terms are an agreement between you and Code Skogens LLC for using FUN4ALL, our games, apps and websites (together, "the service"). By creating an account or playing, you accept them. They are written to be read, so please do.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use FUN4ALL. If you are under the age where you can accept these terms yourself in your country, a parent or guardian must accept them for you.

2. Your account

  • Give us a real email address; it is how you recover your account.
  • Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens on your account.
  • Pick a nickname that is not offensive, misleading or impersonating someone else. We may ask you to change one that is.

3. The service is free

FUN4ALL is free to play and supported by advertising in the mobile apps. There are currently no purchases, subscriptions or paid items. If that ever changes, we will update these terms first.

4. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the apps for playing. The games, artwork, mascots, names and code remain ours. Don't copy, resell, or redistribute them.

5. Conduct

Play hard, play fair. Our Fair Play policy is part of these terms. In short: no cheating, no automation, no exploiting bugs, no farming leaderboards with multiple accounts, no abusive behavior toward other players, and no using the service for anything unlawful.

6. What you write and create

You can rate and review the games, and what you write is published to other players under your nickname. Criticism is welcome: a one-star review with your honest reasons is exactly what reviews are for, and we do not remove reviews for being negative.

What is not allowed: hateful, sexual or vulgar language, harassment or threats aimed at anyone, personal information (yours or anyone else's), advertising, links, and pretending to speak for FUN4ALL. We screen reviews when they are submitted and refuse ones that break these rules.

Every review carries a report option, and you can block any player to stop seeing what they write and to cut off their friend requests and match invites. Reported reviews are looked at by our team, and reviews reported by several players are hidden automatically while we do. We can remove any review that breaks these rules, and accounts that keep breaking them can lose access under section 11.

Cuckoo! also lets you spend coins in the Word Workshop to build a topic. You type one word, and an AI model writes the topic and its hint chips out of it, in every language, so the chips you and everyone else read are machine-generated and we do not pretend otherwise. A public topic joins the worldwide pool and carries your nickname when it comes up; a private one is dealt only in your own solo games. Either way the word was yours, and you are responsible for it.

The rules above apply to a topic exactly as they apply to a review, and by building one you agree to submit no objectionable content of any kind: nothing hateful, sexual or vulgar, nothing that harasses or threatens anyone, no personal information, no advertising and no links. We screen the word when you submit it and screen the generated chips before the topic goes live. Every topic carries a report option, a topic reported by several players is hidden automatically while our team looks at it, and we can remove any topic that breaks these rules. Accounts that keep breaking them can lose access under section 11.

Coins have no monetary value (see section 7). If a topic you paid for is hidden or removed because it breaks these rules, the coins you spent on it are not returned.

7. Progress and virtual items

Levels, experience, scores, unlocks and anything similar exist only inside the game. They have no monetary value, cannot be sold or transferred, and may be adjusted or reset when needed (for example after a cheating incident or a seasonal reset).

8. Leaderboards and regions

Every game has one leaderboard, the Season Board, and everyone plays on it. There is nothing to join or choose: your scores count towards it automatically as soon as you post them.

A season runs for three months. When it ends the board is cleared, and the top three players in each game are paid 50,000, 25,000 and 10,000 coins; a season may also carry cosmetic items for its winners. Your best score in each game is kept on the all-time list, so a reset clears the race and not your record.

Your skill rating in ranked games is a separate thing and is not part of the season reset. It is a lifetime measure of how you have played, and only match results move it.

Separately, you choose the region your online matches run in. Region affects how responsive a match feels, nothing else: your account, level and standings are the same everywhere, and we may add or retire regions as we grow.

9. Availability and changes

We work to keep FUN4ALL online and fun, but the service is provided "as is" and "as available". We may add, change or remove features, games, leaderboards or regions, and we may interrupt the service for maintenance. We are a small studio; we will do our best, and that is what we promise.

10. App updates

The apps update themselves. Alongside normal app store updates, FUN4ALL can download signed updates to its own game content, meaning the screens, the artwork and fixes, directly from our servers, so improvements reach you sooner. The app you installed from the store is only ever changed by a store update, and a new game becomes playable only once the store version that carries it is installed. When an update is ready the app tells you and you choose when it is applied. Updates never change what these terms permit; if the terms themselves change, section 13 applies.

11. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or the Fair Play policy, and remove scores earned unfairly. You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time on our account deletion page.

12. Disclaimers and liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, and our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the last 12 months, which for a free game is zero. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

13. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a meaningful way, we will post the new version here and note it in the app. Continuing to play after a change means you accept the new terms.

14. Contact and governing law

Questions go to contact@codeskogens.com. These terms are governed by the laws applicable at the registered seat of Code Skogens LLC, without regard to conflict of law rules.
